The messaging sense on the Cookie Plus is pretty damn good, support for basic Sms and Mms is odiously in place, but serious messengers can use Ems and e-mail. Flipping the phone horizontally triggers the accelerometer and sends the phone into landscape mode which is excellent for messaging; the on-screen Qwerty keyboard is easy to operate and sports well sized touch sensitive buttons, typing out messages is generally quite a quite affair which is great for messaging on the go.
The cartoon-style overlay has some embedded applications allowing you to carry on your Twitter, Facebook and Flickr accounts, allembracing the Sns integration isn't bad, but you know if it was any good you would be forking out alot more for the handset. One of the standout features on the Cookie Plus includes the LiveSquare where your favourite contacts are shown as intriguing avatars roaming colse to a mini scene. To retell with LiveSquare animations you simply drag and drop one of them on the desired form of transportation from the underlining tool bar.
There have been many questions as to when are Lg going to start de facto competitive with some of the top dogs like Sony Ericsson, Nokia and Samsung, but Lg are doing well by sticking to what they know and delivering a product nobody else has even thought of; an affordable alternative.
